Dynamic URL Shortner

While preparing for The Amazing QRace session at TCEA 2013, it dawned on me that I really need to give credit to my favorite URL shortener, Tiny.cc. It works in the same fashion as most of the other popular shorteners, such as Goo.gl and Tinyurl.com, but gives you the added feature of dynamic links, and it’s FREE!

Tiny.cc allows you to edit both your link and the name of your shortened URL. Whether it’s to correct typos or update your links, this feature really comes in handy.

Once you have created a new shortened URL, you can share the link through many popular social mediums like Facebook, Google+ and Twitter, or
by generating a QR Code. For The Amazing QRace, I was able to create all of the QR codes in advance to have our posters printed and then I updated the links as they were finalized.

Tiny.cc also has some other useful capabilities including adding traffic filters, click statistics, and even a bookmarklet tool that allows you to shorten the current page you’re viewing.

So if your looking for an easy way to manage all of your shortened URL's then Tiny.cc is something you need to check out.
